The Lucky Iron Fish Enterprise team is growing again! The company’s shareholders have ratified the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors at the 2019 Annual General Meeting. Devdatt Shah and Karen Kuwahara will join the Board bringing decades of experience in corporate governance and leadership.

“I am delighted that Karen and Devdatt are joining the Board for Lucky Iron Fish Enterprise at such a critical time” said Founder and CEO Dr. Gavin Armstrong. “The global demand for our simple solution increases each day, and their advice on how to appropriately scale our business to meet this demand will be vital”.

Mr. Shah has worked in investment banking for over 25 years in firms based in New York, London, Toronto, Singapore, and Mumabi. He has held senior level positions with Brookfield Asset Management, ICICI Securities, and J.P. Morgan. 

Ms. Kuwahara has led a successful career in marketing and general management including serving as President of Nestle Purina PetCare for 13 years. She also has extensive volunteer experience including roles with the 2015 Pan Am Games, the Japanese Canadian Culture Centre, and serving as a committee chair on the University of Guelph Board of Governors.

Retiring from the Board is Linda Ann Daly. “I want to thank Linda Ann for her dedication and commitment. Her engagement at our meetings was incredibly appreciated and I wish her well on her future commitments. She will always be a member of the Lucky Iron Fish family!” said chair of the board Dr. Alastair Summerlee.
