Iron-Enriched Peach Lemonade – Lucky Iron Fish

Iron-Enriched Peach Lemonade

We're feeling just peachy after drinking this IRON-ENRICHED PEACH LEMONADE! Should you be so inclined, you can always add a shot of vodka and make this into a great cocktail.

We love the original recipe by @sugarandcharm and you won't believe how easy it is to give it a boost of natural iron!

YOU'LL NEED:
➡️ 1 Lucky Iron Fish/ Leaf
➡️ 4 cups of water
➡️ 2 cups ice (bonus points if they're iron-enriched!)
➡️ 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice
➡️ 1 cup frozen or fresh peach slices
➡️ ½ cup sugar/ maple syrup/ any sweetener
➡️ 2 drops peach extract (optional)

SO EASY TO MAKE:

1️⃣ Bring all the water to a boil. Then add 2-3 drops of lemon juice and the Lucky Iron Fish or Leaf. Continue to boil for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat and remove the Fish/ Leaf.

This is how you make iron-enriched water. To make iron-enriched ice cubes, you would simply freeze this water!

2️⃣ Allow the iron-enriched water to cool. In the meantime, blend the frozen or fresh peach slices so you have a peach puree.

3️⃣ When you're ready to serve, take a large jug and add ice to it. Then simply transfer the "iron water" + lemon juice + sweetener + peach puree + peach extract. Stir and serve!

🍹 For garnish, you can also add some lemon and peach slices.

Who's making this over the weekend?!?
