Lucky Iron Life is a social enterprise dedicated to improving global health using socially conscious business practices. A fundamental pillar in our beliefs is that everyone has the right to be treated fairly and equally. We believe that diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences will make us a stronger and more thoughtful organization. We strive to foster an environment that is open and where everyone is treated with respect. We acknowledge that we may not have all of the answers, but we will always be willing to listen and learn to be better allies in the pursuit of an equal and just society.

We also understand that action speaks louder than words. The board of directors will adapt and implement a diversity & inclusion policy that is used when new directors are being nominated for the board. When we advertise new job postings we will be mindful of where we are posting to ensure that we are appealing to a representative group of candidates, and we will be mindful of the composition of the hiring committee and what language is used in the posting.

Our head office is located in Toronto, Ontario. We acknowledge that this land is on the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit. This land is still home to many indigenous peoples and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work in this space and learn more about how we can treat our community and our planet better.

A fundamental pillar at Lucky Iron Life is that everyone has the right to be treated fairly and equally. We pride ourselves in working alongside a diverse and inclusive team. Below is a snapshot of how our team identifies.
